Feeding troubles

i try to feed my nem these days

ive tried mysis, unprocessed shrimp, salmon, silverside...

whatever i fed it with the clowns just picked away

what am i supposed to do?

1) How long have you had the nem? And the clowns?
2) Have the clowns ever left food for the nem that they collected from the water?
3) Have you ever been able to feed the nems before?
4) How long has it been since you couldn't give them food without the clowns taking it?
5) What kind of nem and what kind of clowns?
6) Do you think you feed the clowns enough?

I have a female cinnamon and a male tomato clown in the nem tank with 12 different nems. When I feed the tank, the clowns will take the first larger piece of food (cut up grass shrimp or silversides) to the 2 condies and leave it. Then they come back to the food source and eat for themselves. And if I feed the nem myself (I rarely do) the clowns never steal from the nem.

Good luck.

it's a sebae and i have it for almost three weeks

the clowns are ocelaris

id never fed this nem before then

the clowns used to be with a ritteri and they did the same. they didn't eat the food but threw them away instead. seemingly they didn't want the nem to have it

since i got this new nem, i quarantined the ritteri. three days ago i put it back, figuring out the new nem was a sebae. but the clowns didn't move back and yesterday the ritteri terminated itself by hugging a powerhead

changed lots of water and now the nem and the clowns seem fine

then i decided to feed the nem, and then the clowns threw food away
