feeding

What do I feed my mantis, he is a little guy so I am not really sure what to feed him, he hasnt ate since I first saw him about 2 weeks ago! I was watching him today and I think he is getting less shy but not by much! My LFS is closed to day so I figured i would ask yalls opinion!

what sort is it? get a photo even if its a blurry one. Does it hit things? or does it have spear like appendages?
Feed it krill, squid, silversides...if its a smasher include some hard food in his diet ie crabs.

i have no idea what kind he is, I havent heard any noises though, I have seen him cleaning dust out of his hole though, I put a piece of chicken on the end of a chop stick and finally got to see him, he is a pretty dark color like dark green or purple, he is only maybe an inch or two at best, he is so fast and shy.

LOL!!! How did he react to the chicken? Was it original recipe or crispy? LOL

yeah came from FL, he actually tore that damn chicken up!!! It was hilarious, it was original lol!!! I went and bought him some ghost shrimp today, I put one in there and he went to town, now that I have got to see him out in the light, he is a dark purple and has green on his underside.... he is so cool. Now I just hope the ghost shrimp breed so I dont have to buy anymore, I put a dozen in a 5 gallon tank with some rocks and a air stone!!!!!
