Feel the flow (better)

First of all this hobby is the worst. It's sucking up time, money and dulling my social skills. It's an addiction above all others. (for me)

On top of that I just can't get enough flow. I currently have two 6000 streams on my 6" 125gallon. I want more. Should I get the wave box, upgrade to the 6100 streams, or get two other Tunze pumps?

The box runs about 460 or so, the upgrade would be about 150 or so, and the two other pumps could be just about anything.

Because flow is cool. :)

It's 72" x 18" x 22"(maybe 23") I have primarily SPS corals. There are some mushrooms and Zoos, but they are kinda growing on their own right now.

In all honesty, there was sand stirred up and it settled straight down on the rocks. I'd also like more flow latterally from the pump. Pretty much to keep detritus in suspention and get flow to the corals outside the cone of flow. I figured a 6100 could easily reach the other side of the tank.

The 6100 would reach the full length. The wavebox is your best bet though for keeping detritus in suspension. You could go either way but the effect of the wavebox is what you want if your main concern is detritus.

And a Wavebox with a 6000 on either end is ok for moving the water to the overflows? I guess I need to go back and read some other threads. I have a seaswirl at about 1000 gph as my return.

Thanks for the info Roger. I've gone on a wait list for the Wave Crack. I'm mean Wave Box. It seems that people just can't find them. I appologize if you've been asked this in other threads, but I can't find a recent response.

Do you know when another shipment of these bad boys will be back in the US?

I have not recieved any wavebboxes since the first week of January. I hope to get more in soon. Axel''s brother builds the housing annd he got very sick so that stopped production for a while, they also made a few changes to the electronics.

Sorry Roger... one other Q. Do you know when new 6100 power transformer thingys will be in? Sorry to get so technical.
