Female clownfish Pregnant

Hey everyone,
This morning i woke up and fed my fish as usual but then i noticed she had a bulging belly. I knew when i bought 2 baby clownfish 6 months ago this might happen but never this soon. Anyways I am totally unprepared on the sense of a hatchling tank and rotifers and such. I think it would be really cool to try and raise them. So first off how long does it take for a pregnant female to lay eggs? Is a sponge filter of in a hatchling tank as opposed to just an airstone? What is the best place in California to get rotifers? What else should I know?

If she's truly pregnant you do not need to make any decisions in haste. Your clowns should spawn on a regular basis, every two weeks or so. Take your time to read up on rearing clownfish.

How small where they then and how big are they now?
Also which species are they?
The females of A. ocellaris and A. percula need to be at least 60 mm (~2.5 in) to lay eggs and you will notice it in their behavior when they get ready.
