Apparently my little spotted male mandarin has died 
I haven't seen him for ~3 days now. The female is still all fat with eggs --- I assume this is a non-issue and she'll just reabsorb them or something.
But I thought it couldn't hurt to post here to see if anyone knows for sure or has had experience with this.
It would be easy enough to add a male if she needs this.
