female receptacle for Ham and SS lights

CleveYank

Just wondering.
Anyone do some DIY Metal Halide lighting and have extra female receptacle or two that fits Hamilton and or Sunlight Supply 3 prong proprietary male lamp/fixture plug?

I can order them, but maybe someone has one liying around that's in the way.

I looked for one on a cable, but the sunlight supply one that housing mounts was all I could find.

oh yeah....FEMALE pigtails...(yeah yeah yeah...no swine jokes, I'm not into wierd stuff LOL)

Dan at Salty (of course ;) ) handled it. Female Sunlight Supply pigtails will be enroute shortly. You really should use Dan...he's rather diligent to ones reef needs.

Hey Zaireguy,

Light connector arrived so tossing together the frag swap rig.
Then,
I will try to get the monty superman pics up after I complete that.

Are you still selling at the swap because your name and corals are gone from Fragswapper? I'd like to see the Superman Monti too!

Yes Ron still going.

Funny thing happened to me on the way to the swap about 4 weeks ago.

Although I had finally gotten things cleared of all parasites so that I could offer them to others months ago (talk about tons of flatworm exit...geeze o pete),
I ran into a lighting problem.
Self induced.
I converted lights from magnetic ballasts to electronic ARO's and gave my corals a little suntan. Despite raising the lighting and despite kicking the photoperiod way down. Either Hamilton 14K SE bulbs are rubbish and or the kick up to electronic and redoing the reflectors was such a drastic change that PAR must have skyrocketed. I tried to follow all the rules...I guess it was still a big jump.

Fambrough picked up some things from me 2 weeks ago and he said they are doing very well...one being a superman.

Fortunately nothing bit the dust. But I have been waiting for the shoe to drop on which ones I was going to bring or not bring. For if I'm not happy with coloration etc it's not going just to dump it on someone else.

The Superman's were one of the one's unimpacted.

I would be up for a superman if the color is there

Ron,

(oh yeah...I found PM you wrote me 03/05/2003 10:34 PM and you said Ron...not sure why I thought your name was Bob...sorry)

I'm finally hitting the finish line with my DYI metal halide light metal girder style supports for the swap...hopefully be getting the photos up.

If I can get good shots from both top and side I will try.

Well back to the grind.
