females flames changing

Hello reefers...I've tried two male flames wrasses from an onling vendor and both have died on me within 5 days due to shipping stress. Come to find out, I guess the males are less tolerable to shipping. However the two females are alive, well and active and are done w/ qt. I like to put them in my display but there is a somewhat agressive blue head fairy and a carpender flasher currently in there. My question is... will one of the females still change into a male even though there are other male wrasses in there? I would hate to have two females stay females for 1+ years in a big tank that would be virtually impossible for me to net them out and put them in another tank for the change to take place. Please let me know, thanks!

That's precisely why at least one of them WILL change; no males present.

What you need to be concerned about is ending up with two males that won't tolerate another.

Great...thanks! I will plan on upgrading in the near future and will eventually break the tank apart...during which I will separate the males if necessary...BTW...I read your article and you are now the GOW (God of Wrasse). I was hoping you respond and you did...thanks again!
