Feminus Wrasse on LA's DD Tonight?

What do you guys think? I just got the "Sneak Peek" email, and it says "Blue Striped Tamarin Wrasse."

Could it be? Or are they just teasing us and it's something much less exotic?
 
The last one was $1000.

Im sure there's someone out there just waiting to pull that trigger :D
 
What a fish... keep in mind that this is a subtropical fish requiring cooler water... Jack Randall named this "femininus" because the females are prettier than the males (female is for sale tonight)! :spin3: He collected the holotype at Easter Island... oh and needless to say it is always best to get fish from the DD, but on species like this it is near necessary as unadapted Anampses skate on thin ice... :)

Ahh! You guys are killing me. As much as I'd love this fish, especially with an open top rimless Elos it'd only be a matter of time....
 
You need a top for that open-topped ELOS, no matter what my friend ;)

Not worth it!

... and I agree with everyone that if you want one, now's the time :D
 
I wouldn't keep any fish in an open topped tank... any fish can jump...

I just don't have a good system for this fish for various reasons... although I'd love one... and I already have a pair of bluelines... or at least an adult and a little girl... :)
 
All of the ones in the trade are coming out of Australia... oh and guys it's "femininus"... unless you like your women "femine"... :D
