Man Mel you're killin me here! I wanna buy them just because they're such a great deal.... I'm imagining putting my lights in pairs over the tank like this == to just get twice the ammount of light. I'm keeping any eye out for anyone who is looking for more lighting, and for a killer deal on it.

I know that there are a few people who have been having "minimum lighting issues," and if they sprung for 2x250, they would be good to go with keeping anything in their tank... just a thought...

I have a 15gal tank that I was gonna make one for but Ive been to busy working 7-10. If it fits behind my tank Im interested in it.

Carlos....I believe it would fit behind a 15g tank.
I had it on 20g tank and I enough space left over to fit a HOB
skimmer too. I could get exact dimensions tonight. It has a large area for cheato and/or LR...
I beleive I even have a strip light that fits perfectly on it.

Which vantec fans are these, the thermoflow?
How many do you have?
Does they come with the DC converter?

Double ball bearing, no DC converter.
