Hey guys, been doing a lot of reading.
First, wondering if you guys could ID these guys?(official names) I got them from the LFS as a pair from a nano tank, labeled as true perc's. Are they? Is there any reason for the color difference, different types maybe? They both are relatively the same size which worries me a little bit (as far as becoming mated pair), but they're both still quite young and the one with black is starting to show some dominance,
Secondly, I also have a 3-spot domino that's somewhat aggressive towards them. He doesn't nip at them, but kinda like goes straight up to them, broadside and sort of shake and swing his tail at them. He only does it for a brief second and takes off. I'm just worried he is messing up the two clowns in that they'll both become suborate to him and both stay male? Or is the 3-spot distant enough that they know this and are just getting picked on by a more aggressive fish? Don't worry though, my daily route involves about 1-2hrs trying to catch him.
BTW, don't worry about the plate, it's in the sand now. Also, the 3-spot's real bytach is blue damsel that he has chased and picked on for 4+months and keeps coming back for more
