Few questions - Pvc & baffles

Hi,
Just wondering 2 things:
1. Is there any pvc primer or glue that isn't saltwater/reef safe? I currently have IPS weld-on P-70 primer and IPS weld-on multi-purpose 790 pvc glue. Would I be ok using those 2 on my plumbing?
2. I am making my own sump/fuge. I was wondering if plexiglass would be strong enough to use as the baffles (its just a 10 gallon sump/fuge) and would it be safe for the reef or should I go with acryllic?

plexiglass is fine. I used 1/4" on my 75 gallon sump.

Anyone know if the pvc primer/glue i'm going to use wouldn't be reef safe for any reason? Any ingredients I should look out for?
