Fighting Cyanobacteria

So I had an outbreak and keeping the lights off for 3 days currently on day 2. However it seems like all my rock is becoming green. Is this due to the cyano or a completely different issues?

Does the green come off the rocks with ease or do you really have to use some force to remove it? If it's the latter then it's just part of the process. Before too long you'll have Coralline algae covering pretty much everything in your tank. GL.

I swear by Dr. tim's process. I ran a cycle and never had anything grow back.
