fiji rock?

hi, i was wondering how well 40lbs of your fiji rock would fill a 50g aquarium(36x18x18") also, what about 30lbs of marshall island rock. how well would that fill the tank? i am not looking for the crammed tank look.

sort of a dumb question, but if you do have an answer, that would be great :)

i think its more of a personall preferance. i think that 70 lbs would look pretty decent. it wont look as crowded tword the front of the tank if you put it all on the back wall.but if you dont want the back wall covered you can always lay it more flat in the middle of the tank.. just my 2 cents

If you are wanting a fairly open look, which it sounds like that is what you are going for, then 40lbs of Fiji or 30 - 35lbs of Marshall combined with your existing 15lbs woudl probably fit the bill pretty well. I have a 58 setup as a soft/lps system, and originally had 40lbs total of Kaelini/Marshall/Fiji mix. That left it very open and short, however it was the original look I was going for.

Thanks,
Jeremy
