Filament-like Worms in Substrate?

In my three year old 90 gallon reef tank I have dozens or more of 1/4 inch threadlike, pale filaments coming up out f the 2 inch sand bed. Any idea what these are? Good? Bad? Would something like to eat them?

Sounds like you have spaghetti worms; good.
