Filling up tank.

How far down from the tank top brace do you fill the tank up? I have a 72 gal bow and right now some of the water touches the middle brace cause of the water movement. Should I have it this high?

Mine is all the way above the bottle of the plastic rim, but not touching the brace. I'd put more in, but I don't see the need and I'm afraid if I put to much the I won't be able to stick my hand in without spilling water everywhere.

Mine is at the same spot too. Do you have an overflow? Is your tank drilled?

I have an over flow. I will be drilling it in about 2 months.

Water should then go to the waterline of the overflow which means right under the dark plastic rim.
