I got my dry sand in the mail yesterday and I've been trying to figure out how to rinse it. I poured some onto my filter bag and shook it slightly. All that went through was little particles, which are what I assume I'm supposed to wash out. I'm thinking about using putting the sand in a funnel (with the bag underneath to hold the sand in) and pouring water through. Is this a good way to wash the sand?
