Filter socks and skimmer going nuts

Here's a question. Can I clean them simply by rinsing with hose on jet setting to clear debris?

Absolutely. My self and others have done this for years. I put them on clean concrete outside as a backer. put the nozzle on high jet or similar. first inside out then out side out. Vigoirsly whirl in centrifugal motion to dry. Air Dry completely for a few days. Done.

Socks last longer.
No chemicals
No bleach
No washing machine residue.

I have used the machine (old style top load machine) and found it not to get them as clean Unless I run them through twice.
