Filteration for a 2.5 gal pico

Hi,

What would be a good type of filter be a for 2.5 gal pico? I see some people use small powerfilters. I thought of using a small power filter too and putting some cheto (sp.) algea in it, would this work well?

Also will I need to skim this small of a tank?

well you can do that yes, but thats not going to do your biological filtration. For biofiltration just get about 3 lbs of live rock. Thats what i got in my 2.5 and i have a whisper 20 on it for flow.

I agree with dudeguy. You should go with live rock and maybe some live sand
