Filtration for nano tank ?

So I am used to my 90g with a 40g sump, protein skimmer, reactors, dosing pumps etc etc.

If I go and set up a 10g or so size nano what do I use for filtration or am I just going au natural, live rock etc ?

Live rock and water changes are what most people do.

they do make small protein skimmers for nano tanks.

I have seen some with just live rock and frequent water changes (some daily, others every other day)

I seen some with a sump (yes I know a sump for a nano) to hold the other stuff and have more water.

and I have seen some with in tank or HOB skimmers, and pumps

so you can kinda do any way you like

I use a aqua clear 30 in my bedroom nano (mr aqua 12 gallon long) with an intank media basket that has purigen and chemipure elite in it. Also have an intank media basket in my gf's biocube also running purigen and chemipure elite

They make nice stuff. They also sell the filtration media if your lfs doesn't happen to carry it

Thanks, I totally missed that one. I used a media tower from them in my BioCube years ago.

No problem. I think the basket is a really good setup for mechanical filtration. That purigen and chemipure elite really work well.
