A few filtration questions:
1) filter sock or settling area in my sump? i'll be making a sump out of a 30g long.
2) I have a Pentair Lifeguard 3 stage filter (mechanical, chemical, uv) on my current freshwater set up. The mechanical is a paper filter, the chemical is pelletized carbon, and you know what the uv is, lol. Do I keep this for my salt water set up or do I remove it? Or do I only use one of the stages? Etc.
3) my tank is a 90g with the 30g for the sump. would i be ok with the Tunze 9006 skimmer? Or would you recommend something bigger (although the 9006 is already hurting my budget, lol).
