Fin deterioration

For the last couple days i have noticed My sohal tang is looking roughed up. Heres a pic any one know what is causing this. Doing water parms now will post results. Nothing else looks like this.

PO4 ----5.0 (high but also just fed about 1 hour ago will retest)
PH ------8.1
Calcium -----480
KH 260
Salinity is 1.027 ( a lil high usually like it at 1.025)

Could there be a stray voltage?

possibly hlle. Seemed to happen after i added the carbon. Took it out (Carbon ) and would say it looks better after a few days . Going to do a water change and see if that helps.

What kind of carbon did you use? Did you rinse it first?

marine land carbon. I did rinse it , but i wonder if i should have rinsed better. I just ran it under cold water till the water was almost clear.
