So I've been out of town working and my secretary has been taking care of my fish. I return and my 5 yr old purple tang looks to have fin rot. The front portion of his dorsal fin is about 1/3 affected. Hard to get a pic, he's camera shy. He's eating fine & swimming fine, his fins just look bad.
It's probably from bad diet, she was feeding only pellet food while I was away.
Can I correct it with just diet? Selcon? Greens?
Or should I treat the tank with something?
Tank is well established & all parameters are good. Haven't done a water change in a while, since I've been gone, but I plan to tomorrow.
