Fin rot or fin nipping

My two clown fish have fin damage note sure if is from fin nipping or fin rot. Thank up two months all parameters are good ammonia is 0. Nitrite 0 and nitrate is around 5.0ppm. Two clowns, flame hawk, 2 blue yellow damsels and one black and white damsels.

If it is just the two clowns, then it is a good possibility they are sorting out who the boss is going to be. Once this is settled things should be fine.

if it grows back in a week or so its fin nipping, if not then its water quality issue, but from that picture i will say fin nipping

I agree. They probably deciding who's becoming the female (the boss)
