fin rot

Does anybody know anything about fin rot? We have lost 5 fish in 4 Days to this disease. The fish are covered in ich but I know this does not kill fish quickly. The fish are dropping off like flies. My flame angel and pjama cardinal are also affected and I fear the next to go.
Symptoms are : White spots on body, eyes included, discoloration on body and fins are disappearing ( rotting). We have treated the tank with tri-sulpha yesterday but the fish look no better. Worse if you want my opinion. Will the whole tank be wiped out?

Ich can kill faster than you think. Ich is also only visible during one stage in its life cycle so if you are seeing that much ich then you need to act fast. You need to remove the fish into a hospital tank and treat them with hyposalinity. The hypo will kill the ich, leaving the main display fishless for 6-8 weekswith also kill of the ich. After the hypo if the fish still have fin rot I would treat with maracyn II for saltwater fish. I think you would be ok treating with the maracyn while in hypo but im not 100% positive on that one.
