I placed a yellow assesor in my tank about two weeks ago. About three days ago I noticed a discoloration on his dorsal fin and on one side there appeared to be a whit spot or tuft, it was hard to see with him swimming. That area of the fin has now become transparent as if the tissue has gone. He is eating well and is very active. I am wondering if this is a local infection as a result of stress of being in a new environment or if this will be come something more serious.
