Sorry to see you leave. Your 200 gallon that I bought from you is one of the best decision I made when I was looking to upgrade. I truly love the large opening and the shallow depth of the tank. It make it so easy to work on the tank. I'm so glad I didn't go with a taller tank. Good luck with everything.

We are getting some nice AC stuff in, but not everyone is able to keep it alive. I have yet to see an AC Superman that looks better than the original. I have Ben's old E. mammiformis, and to my knowledge is one of the few that has actually thrived.

Alex, you're tank has been one of favorite. I missed those days too when all wild colonies were coming in. Dalton used to bring in all the nice stuff. Now with all the aqua culture there more pest out there to deal with. You're presence will sure be missed. I also heard that Tubs might be moving on as well.

That's what John told me as well Didn't sound like he was shutting down his tank, but rather, getting out of the frag game.

ROAB, I never met you, but I did admire your frags from afar. I was thinking of taking down my 150 after my most recent RTN disaster and either selling it or turning it into a freshwater planted tank, but I think I'm just going to take it down a notch and focus on softies for now. My kids love the tank and I think they would lose something if I got rid of the tank. I've automated things quite a bit with my tank over the years, but sometimes I feel like I have a third child when I'm doing some major maintenance on the tank, and other responsibilities and interests in my life suffer so I know where you're coming from.

Man, I remember when I would stare at live rocks for hours and spend Saturday mornings scrubbing hair algae off of rocks instead of going on bike rides with my then girlfriend now wife... Now I just do a quick check on a daily and weekly basis to make sure all the systems are running and do a cursory visual check on the corals and fish. There are more important things to do now - like playing Lego Star Wars II on the Xbox 360 in co-op mode with my daughter.

No wonder his website hasn't been updated since he got back from the trip or from that miserable heat wave that hit most of us in the Bay Area back at June/July. He sure did carried some nice and rare pieces.
