A few questions. How tight should the bulkhead be? I hand tightened quite a but without putting the grip of death on it but didn't use any tools. I'm alittle afraid of cracking the glass or cracking the plastic. Other than that i've got an interesting little setup. It was hard to cutomize since this damn pine stand was soo small and cramped for room!

Sorry not sure how to make the images appear with the hyperlink.

The bulkhead should be hand tight and then a small turn more but not tight enough the gasket starts to come out/displace from under the flange.
Set up looks good but the metal clamps may rust over time so watch out. The bands are usually stainless but the screws are not for some reason....

The line with the 90 degree turn I assume is the return?? You will lose a little flow/pressure due to 90s so keep them to a minimal if you can

The clamps are no where near water. I made sure of that. Yeah probably splash back but i ,ay zip tie some plastic around them later on.

How do those rubber hose like adapter things hold up? I was skeptical about using them but saw them in many peoples setups and they are very convenient.

I'm guessing you tried to post the pics. Didn't work.

Yep. Also tried to retrace them to the original source, and got the same problem as you. :(

I have no problem, but I don't need an album. I just save the pictures on my computer if I need them in the future.

hey,
im at the same stage and cant wait to get going also. one thing, if you dont like your stand change it now! you know, before the years of maintenance begin. there are many DIY plans on this site that brilliant. i made my stand with ideas from this forum.

I just noticed all the soundproofing or is it insulation for the stand on this down shot

It's non-toxic foam, padding, wouldn't call is soundproofing but that's the main reason it's there. :D Thanks for noticing.

I have it everywhere.
