Finally going to switch over to a sump, need help on overflow setup

No worries, I already have a 20 long that I'm using. So far things are looking good for having this filled on Monday. Just have to get some glass to make the baffles, finish the drain plumbing, then drill holes in the stand for plumbing.

Then to rebuild the led setup making them full spectrum...

Found one leak so far on a threaded section, just added some more teflon tape and so far so good. Definitely need to add a ball vale to the drain, the pump can't keep up and when a full siphon gets going it empties the overflow and sucks in air which is really loud then the overflow fills back up and repeats this cycle every 30 seconds or so.

I'm going to let it run overnight just in case any other leaks want to pop up. Then drain it, glue up the drains, drill the stand, silicone in the baffles (got them cut at Lowes for free), and fill it with saltwater. Also filled the sump to 8" ( I plan to have it at 7") and turned off the pump to make sure I have enough room for water in case of power outtage. Still had room for another 2 gallons after the tank drained:) The pump (Jebao DC3000) is also dead silent at full blast which is awesome!

Last freshwater leak test, everything is done and ready for saltwater other wise. I'll drain it tomorrow after work and then start filling it with RO/DI then sart the cycle this weekend, hoping to have my fish back in at the beginning of July.

I'm going with all live rock this time as I have a feeling dry rock was the cause of the dinoflagellates the last two times (due to leaching phosphates).

Also made an overflow cover out of leftover glass, cut one piece to the outer dimensions of the overflow box then another to the inner dimensions and glued them together with silicone and painted it black with krylon fusion.
