Thanks to our friend Dragonvale I was finally able to purchase a very nice frag tank. My plan is to plumb it into my main system to cut down on the amount of equipment I'll need to set it up. I have two open outlets on the DC8 for my aquacontroller Jr to plug the light and heater in to. I'm just waiting on the return pump and heater in the mail and I can set it up this weekend:)

My frag rack a Blue glow acrylic frag rack system that has a really clean look to it. The lighting is a 2 bulb 39W T5 fixture that is about 6-7 inches above the frag racks. I'm mainly growing zoas but wanted to get your guys opinions on if the light is too close?

I think the tank is a 36x12x5 but I'll have to double check when I get home.

Here it is!

Depending on the fixture and par output I Def think that's too close. Imo Even with a low dollar fixture if your running good bulbs the par is going to be pretty high that close to the racks. Best way to tell is to fill it with water and check the par at the level where the zoas will be at.

I know my t5's put out about 700+ par an inch under the surface but I'm running an ATI with high par bulbs so that might not factor into your set up.

That thing is pretty slick looking =).
