I am so excited. My blue belly Regal died after a disaster occurred in my tank, my fault : ( so I began the search for a yellow belly.
NY AQuatic gets them in from time to time but I had never ordered from them before. I heard a few good things about them though so I decided to give it a try. I asked Michael when he would be getting more in. He said not for several weeks.
I was surprised to get an email a few weeks later letting me know he would have some in. He told me he would keep them for at least a week and make sure they're eating. I was sceptical since I know that getting them to eat can be a problem. I told him to only send me one that is aggressively eating since I don't have enough live rock in quarantine to sustain him.
To make a long story short Fedex messed up. Michael let me know of the mix up. The fish arrive two days later listless and the water was cold. He told me he would guarantee the fish regardless of Fedex's mixup.
The fish pulled through and was swimming around within a couple of hours of being released. Within two days he started eating mysis and continues to eat well. He did develop lympho but after all that stress I'm not surprised and I know it will cure up in time.
I know I need to post a pic but I haven't had a chance yet. He's shy when people get close to the tank. I will try during the week though.
