I was into film photography 4 years ago but Have not had time or $$ to get into DSLR

anyways its amazing on how much stuff you forget when you don't use the slr cameras. I am like learning and remembering it all over again lol

I bought some extension tubes and got them yesterday.
Not reef related ( my corals are suffering right now :( )

I wish the sun was ot these where taken on M and I tried to keep camera as steady as I could ( excuse dust in left corner)

This is what is really on your food when you pick it up after 5 second rule LMAO

used standard 28-80mm lens with kenko extension tubes
and tamron 28-200mm

nice... kenko extension tubes, i need to look into those. oh... how far were you from the objects?

You've also just had your first introduction to "sensor dust"

That's the big black blob near the top left of each image. ;)

hmmm I am not sure with the 28-80mm I could get very close like 1.5 inches ?

with the tamron I can sit farther away like more than a foot ?

I will mess with them when I get home and give you a more accurate estimate

I was playing with them some more and when you are at 28mm you have to be like .5 inches away from subject so the more your extend the lens the farther you can be at 80mm I think i am about 8 inches away.

Here are some shots I took yesterday at this garden by my apt
