Well i have been asking alot of people questions about certain subjects on here lately. But thanks to all your help. My tank is coming along.
After i finished painting the backround. I was going to go with black but i saw this dark blue.

Here i am applying 1 coat of a polyurethane because the stand is partical board

20L sump that i baffled. I originally wanted a 29 but after i bought it and baffled it I realized I forgot to measure the stand height. I only ended up with about 2 1/2 inchs of top of the sump to bottom of the tank clearance. I returned the sump and got this 20L.

I need to upload more pictures brb.

How exciting! Looks great so far. The stand looks a little suspect as far as a weight issue goes, but hopefully will be ok. I would be inclined to put some bracing in that thing if it were me.

I added a black Rubber mat in a effort to reduce any kind of vibration transfering from the sump to the stand.

A silicon accident. The tube burst and i got silicon all over my hands and shirt

Here is me measuring a light stand. I originally wanted a canopy. But i figured this would be the cheaper route.

Oh please dont say that Drummereef. I was actually really worried about that. Some people told me that it will be fine. I ordered the stand with the tank all at the same time from AGA. The box for the stand said 30B 40B 55 and 65 so i figured it was okay. Now im really worried... Anyways My Euro Reef Rs80 will be in on wed and i ordered a American DJ 100a 8 switch. This Fri i will be ordering a Dual switch Auto top off from AutoTopOff.com and my Eheim 1250 return pump.

You guys seriously think the stand is going to be a issue?. It came from AGA along with my tank. On the box of the stand it says 30B 40B 55g 65G, So obviously it was built with this tank in mind. I cannot add bracing because that would leave no room for my sump..

It'll be fine. AGA wouldn't build a stand specifically for that tank that had a good chance of not being able to hold it...

People here are too paranoid.

Sptfirexiv. Thanks man. People where starting to make me paranoid my self.. Anyways im off to home depot and orchard supply to gather more parts. When i ordered my tank, it came with out a over flow kit, so i had to order one. It will be in thurs!.

My return line

Here are the drain and return finished along with the skimmer in the sump. I originally wanted the drain to be hard plumbed, but for what ever reason i could not find the the right threading for the 1inch Bulkhead. The bulk heads where supplied by AGA.

Any one know what these holes are for?.

Anyways tomorrow im going to order my Eheim 1250 (return pump). A refractometer and a Tunze 6060. Eventually i will order another 6060 and a Phosban reactor for carbon. Tomorrow my American DJ powercenter will be in and i will post some more pics of my setup. Thanks for visiting!.

Not sure what those holes are for. I made my own durso with pvc and didn't put those in. Maybe some sort of siphon break? I'm looking at getting a 65 also. I have a 55 and hate the depth. I like the extra depth and going from 4 feet to 3 feet long will give me some extra room for my top off tank in a cramped space. What lights are you using? I wanted to go with a single MH pendant but that center brace would cast a shadow, so I'm also looking at two pendants or perhaps the Sunpod that hs 2 MH's. Are those 250 watts? Looks great so far. I also split my return into two outputs like you have done. I had a SQWD but it just cut down the flow too much. Looking forward to the rest!

Hey thanks every one!.

GP kahuna - Those are two 250 watt HQI's from AquaMedic. Yeah i was thinking about one MH but the center brace would prob eventually break from the heat. And this spreads the lights out more evenly. Your prob right... i think those holes are syphon breaks. Thanks for visiting!.

Matt Rise - Thanks man. I figured it would be cheaper then a Canopy!. :)

Chaotic - thanks for the love brotha. I wanted to ask you what Size sump and return pump are you comboing?. I asked around here and alot of people said that for my 65 a Eheim 1250(320GPH) would be enough. Anyways, thanks for visiting man.

Hey need some advice. What size pump should i go with for my setup?. Originally i wanted a Eheim 1250 because of some advice on RC. But now im starting to wonder if i should have more... Any opinions?.

I use a Mag 7 for a return on my 65 gallon.I haven't had 1 problem in almost 5 years.I have it going to a spraybar across the back of the tank and get pretty good flow across the top of my rocks.I also have a Seio 820 in the back of the rock work that flows left to right, and 620 across the top front. With the spraybar and 2 Seios I get pretty good turbulant flow in the tank.

Finished installing the Power center. I kept it away from the water level and its about 4 1/2 - 5 inches away from the tank.
