get a tank, light, heater, salt and water RO/di, and (a skimmer if you want)and return pump


and do the waiting

also look at the luminarc reflectors


you shouldnt have to dose anything for a while

sit back and relax

nothing comes quick in this hobby

i have a nova light and a tek - the tek puts the nova to shame

ok, you talked me back into MH. but i think im going to go with 150's instead of 250's. im scared of the electricity bills. plus, i see all these pictures of 180-240 gallon sps tanks with 750 watts over them. i think that would be overkill on my little guy.

Seriously. Talk to mark. He's local. He can lay out what he thinks would best fit you and you can't beat his prices. When upgrading mine I had so many questions (I know, I know, everyone out there is shocked ) and he was more than helpful with all of them! I imagine he can get you all of your items you need.

I think a lot of the suggestions actually would make you spend LESS money. In fact, I will be having some Intermatic timers soon that you can have and I think roy robbed a truck full of them :lol:

Didn't you say you were going to have a "fish room"?

If so, don't mess with a tank. Go with a rubbermaid stock tank.
Less expensive, less worries, better overall. Wish I had the room!

Actually, I find it pretty funny...in that high school, soap opera kind of way because a lot of the people who b itched about my questions were the same people who were answering them. I know how cumbersome that can be for people on a MESSAGE BOARD Maybe I'm just weird...If it aggravates me to answer the question, I just simply don't...I know, wild concept
