finally the 120 is wet

Hard to tell from the pics if I see red bugs, Matt. Your lack of polyp extension and faded colors strongly lead me to believe you have them too. Make sure you dip all incoming arrivals to be safe after you do 3 treatments with Interceptor.

I heard this how many times??

hmm...My growth says no but maybe your right. I treated 3 times, long time ago, and have a little over 2 pills left but they are pretty old. I wonder if the loose potency after expired and my QT procedures are not working. i have been using 1/16 of a pill in a 20 gallon tank for QT of new acros.

I still can't see any, but the pics are a little blurry in spots. Expired medication can lose its potency. Do you dip with Bayer, Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure, or Revive?

I use revive first, it's also 2 years old at least, then interceptor but I am thinking about trying the Bayer product. I have had a few acros rtn after using the revive.

I used interceptor that was 4-5yrs old and it still worked.

Good to hear. I put a pill in over night but no change on my polyp extension. Going to change 50 gallons now and add carbon and GFO back on.

I have been using my manual refractometer because it is quicker than my meter and just found that my tank is at 1.027. Maybe that is contributing to my poor polyp extension? I'll have to lower it over the next few days. I think I'll throw that thing out and just use my meter going forward since spot checking every few months did not help keep it where I want it.

Great pictures. I think they are nice for documentation and we get to see the effects of the treatment.

man you got them bad! I still haven't seen them so I think I have something else going on. The acros in my sump have their polyps out but not in my DT. I am going to continue the treatment regardless but not hopeful it's going to help my issue. I still want to blame this stupid Citron Goby for always bothering the acros but he stays away from the milliporas and they have limited polyp extension. All my montis have great polyp extension. This hobby always keeps you guessing.

forgot to mention, other than the red bugs your tank and corals are looking good! At least you got one of the pests that the treatment for it isn't to bad. AEFW is my biggest fear and I even threw out 4 acros I bought late last year because they had some flatworm that I wasn't sure of on one of them. They all came from the same tank in a LFS and I didn't want to risk it.
