Yea I'm going to get 2 clowns tomorrow and get them in QT.

Had to redo plumbing underneath as well as modify sump for bigger skimmer and a 2nd 4" filter sock for the SeaKlear Phosphate Remover.

Not going to wait to cycle? Did you use all RO-DI water to fill it?

QT Tank is fully cycled already, it has been up for 2 weeks now and use Dr. Tim's one and only + Pure ammonia to get cycle done fast.

Clowns are going to be in QT for at least 6 weeks so DT will be fully cycled by then.

Here is how I filled my tank. Top is RO/DI, bottom is SW Mixing.

Wow did something today that I should done earlier.

I attached a float valve I'm back of DT That will shut off the return pump if water level in DT gets too high.

Then I adjusted overflow line to slow it so it's a full siphon, I can't hear it at all anymore. Was soo loud before.

Where did you get surfactant free ammonia? I looked everywhere and asked at every store, and people looked at me wierd, then an unmarked car followed me all the way home. Guess I raised some flags, lol.

I gave up and put a fat pinch of fish flake in after a while. Then i had a nasty red slime bloom. That was almost 2 years ago though. Things are excellent now.

Look online, Dr. Tim's sells a bottle of pure ammonia just for this purpose. Along with dosing instructions.
