My filtration was so loud that i could barely hear the tv. It was my first ever attempt at doing any sort of plumbing and it Turned put great. Inwent with PVC piping for overflow and return. I wanted to go through the floor with it to a fish room but the location of the tank prohibited any drilling without hitting electrical lines, a gas line for fireplace and airducts. That ruined my day. I wanted to install a large 100 gal rubbermaid sump downstairs. Not in the cards at this point. At least it's ALOT quieter now and I know what needs to be done in the future.

Here it is. Just a simple setup using PVC. I had a hard time matching PVC with the new bulkheads. Removing the old ones was an even harder task. Overall, I am happy with the outcome and will still be running through the floor into a fishroom. I just need to get a small scope through the floor to see what I am dealing with.
