I have just been notified that my JBJ nanocube 28 HQI has shipped and will be here tommorow. After a few modifications, I will be able to end my long wait and order my TBS rock. I have been waiting a very long time, but I know that it will be worth it. While I have been waiting, I have watched this site every day. I feel as if I know Richard and many of the rest of you thru your posts. Soon I will have something to talk about. Thanks to all for making the time pass a little more quickly

I'll see what I can do about the pics. And, it actually showed up on my doorstep today. Long time to wait ( since February ), but it actually looks like the wait was worth the tank.

congrats chuck! i know that this waiting was torture but now you will finally get to experience what all the rest of us are raving about first hand.. it is well worth the wait, i just got an order in from richard tuesday night, will try to post some pics for everyone to see..i still have some tweaking to do with the aquascaping but that will come in time. welcome to the family:rollface:

Just an update, I just finished ordering " the package ", and I am starting to get excited. I added some actinic lighting to the hood, the saltwater is cooking and I am sure I will be counting the days from here on out. Quick question for you guys. What range of temperature do you try to keep your tanks at? I know this may be a subjective question, but I guess I am looking for a high and low. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay, have been very busy lately. Will give you guys an update this weekend. The short story is that Part 1&2 are in place, I had a little problem with part 1 ( my fault) but I could not be happier with the overall expierience. And as everybody says, the rock is fantastic. My thanks to Richard for everything.

Sorry Guys!!

Sorry Guys!!

I have promised updates but have not delivered. Presently I am working 12 hour days, 7 days a week.( I work for ATT, good money but hard on my personal life.) My favorite thing Richard sent with my package was a large bag with a small amount of seaweed in it.
I was at a loss as to why he sent it. At first I thought it was a filler to help keep the other bags stable in shipment. After close inspection, I saw it was a decorater crab.

Wow , posted before I was done. Anyway, It turns out that this little guy is a total Hoot!!! He climbs up as far as he can get, and then parachutes to where he wants to go. He has dropped his original " camoflage " and now blends into my tank really well.
Now that we know what we are looking for, he is easy to spot. In my opinion, if you get one of these guys you will absolutly love him.
A question for Richard. How hard are these guys to find in the wild? Or do you look for them on the rock you have already harvested? They are truly one of my top 5 marine critters, and I thank you for sending that "little piece of seaweed in the big bag". I would really miss him if he were gone. Truly an awesome critter, and quite the character.

P.S. More to come!!!!

Yeah they are a hoot. I miss mine he perished and became blue legged hermit food after 3-4 months. I might have to get a new one But I have alot of zoo's now and dont want him to be wearing one as a top hat.
