The WTMRAC membership cards arrived today.

This has been the craziest thing. I turned the order in October but I did it wrong and they never got it. Turned it in again in November and they tried to ship me the cards the week before Thanksgiving.

They transposed my street address and didn't have my name, only WTMRAC so UPS couldn't figure out where to deliver it. They had an old 731 area code phone number.

When they didn't get here, I checked and got a tracking number, found out what happened and called in my correct address. But the package was already on it's way back to MN and they tried to deliver to someone on my street name and address, but in Hastings, MN.

The person on Brooks Manor Cv in Hastings figured out they'd been given something they didn't order and called UPS to reject the package at which point it was returned to the sender on December 11.

I pitched a fit and told them to resend priority or overnight but that I better have cards by the meeting on Saturday.

And so here they are!

I'll bring them Saturday. Please check in with me at the meeting to sign in and get your card.

It has been pretty embarassing to me to have taken so long getting cards. Now that the membership is all set up on software and I know the drill for getting cards, we'll have them on time next year.

I handed them out at the Christmas party to whomever was there. I'll try to get the rest in the mail as soon as I can, but it's probably going to be after Christmas.
