after last week, I lost 2 fish including a clown I have had for close to 2 years. Well a couple months back I bought a torch and frogspawn for the pair to temp them into hosting it. For some reason they never had any interest. After the loss I only had 1 fish in my tank so I bought a clown and 6line today to restock the tank and give the surviving clown a little company.

I know it's risky introducing another clown to the tank, but they seem to be fine and are staying on opposite sides. After only about an hour in the tank where do I find the new perc? yup hosting the torch coral...he wont leave it now!! Finally!!

my 6line seems a bit timmid and is hiding alot, will he start to come out more later on? Also, the vet clown seems to have more of a problem with the 6line rather than the perc.

I'm not trying to be mean but maybe it's because it's not an anemone they didn't quickly lunge at the LPS's? Well, at any rate, they're in there now and I hope all goes well from here on out!

I will always keep a sixline in any tank I own. They do take awhile to settle in, I recently added one as my final fish to the tank, and am glad I learned this time from my previous mistake...lol... My old sixline would harass all newcomers, to the point of death with blue reef chromis. My new sixline has taken a bit of bullying from the green reef chromis school I currently have. It is only a matter of time though, these guys don't take crap from any fish, and IME only abuse fish that constantly nag at them. When they strike, the are ruthless... Still, I love their loner type personality, usually peaceful and plotting along, scoping out critters off your reef. Good luck, mine always get along with clowns too....

funny enough, I just entered a sixline into my reef as well. A little shy at the moment, but this is only day two.
