thats the best way to do a cloose loop i cant doit like that because my fish tank is and island i only have one side to the wall i have to put my over the side and for pump i have a reef dart i love it because there is no noise

yes that is a good option but you only can use like 2 or 3 fans and with the pc power you can have like 12 fans or more depending on the power suply if is and atx like 20 but they dont turn on with out the motherbore i found the way on how to make work ill post some pics later

question on the CL...so u brought ur intake from up and into the tank right? then from the return pump to the manifold?? is that the long tube going from one end to the other?
is that the best way to set it up? do u still have alot of pressure exiting to the returns?
What is the size of the manifold? and the return? Is it 1.5 to 1"? and how about the intake? 1.5"?

yes is like that and about the presure is really good but i will do some changes on the close loop this weekent so stay put for a beter idea

is a 2" inteke is (T) at the end because like that it dont have to much suction with the same preformanse

the manifold is from 1 1/2 to 1" to 3/4 for presure

Tagging along. Is there any reason all the plumbing and pump can be mounted in the canopy rather than all the way down into stand and then back up again?

is only the close loop the have the pluming on the dead side of the tank everyting ells is under plus my canopy is disigne for more ligths i will not have room for the pump is to big
