finaly moved and re-aquascaped - Pics

i was waiting on moving my tank for a while and was finaly able to i wanted ta move it from the basement to an upstairs closet. well heres a few before, during, and after pics...

6 weeks before move with Power Comcraps

2 days before the move i tried an aquascape for ideas. oh and upgraded to a tek light 8x54

set up first day...

4 days later (today)

a majority of the rock went to the fuge (wich stayed in the basement) to many big blocky peices and finaly got more koralia's. and a little giant 4 return.

Power com craps? really?? Are they that bad? I have them

They are ok. You cant get a nice variety of colors like you can from T5 or MH. Everywhere i've looked i can only find 10k pc. Which is good for growth, but it looks like pee. The T5 and MH open up greater possibilities in the way of corals as well.

thanks for the compliments

About PC's... they sustain life, but i didnt like the look, and wanted ta grow SPS' and maybe clams.

The T-5's do get warn, and do warm the tank a little, but just put a fan on em and they are cooler and work better.

i got the tek light you dont need a fixture you can build one free hanging or in your canopy, just get good reflectors, and a good ballast
