finger leather + other softies?

hi,

i have a finger leather that has been in my tank for about 1.5 months. it is doing really well and there is nothing very close to it. i just got some nice frags from another tank and one of them is a kenya tree. will the leather react badly to other softies (such as the kenya tree) being close to it?

i am currently running carbon 24/7 on the advice of several people to deal with any toxins released by the leather.

if the kenya tree can't go near the leather, what about near some xenia?

You can add other softies, but it's always benefical if they aren't touching each other.
