finger leather unglued

My finger leather will not stay glued to the rock. It's a small frag and I'm using super glue. I've used the super glue with other frags and it worked fine. Is there a better glue or some special way for gluing for leathers ?

Thanks

I would suggest using a rubber band to hold the frag in place until it attaches itself. Some softies get real slimey and will not hold with superglue.

i have had luck putting softies in a small container like a yogurt cup with rubble in it. then put a small screen over the top. or the last one i just put it somewhere with a little less current

first I put a wooden toothpick through the base of the leather and then attach elastics around the exposed parts of the tooth pick and the rock. this way the leather doesn't tend to slip out of the elastic

I use plastic forks,I break the teeth off ,wood can cause issues when it rots, no ? other then that same as above.

I pull the tooth pick out after the coral roots itself;)
