Finger Leather

Had this in another thread but no repsonses and I need to let my seller know something. All help appreciated.

I have the opportunity to pick up a large finger leather colony from a local board member for a cheap price. I would really like to get this large piece to fill in some spots on my 125 which currently has mostly frags and a lot of rock. I was reading that the finger leather or Sinularia(spelling?) may release toxins in the water column that could be harmful to some SPS. I was curious if this was a problem in a 125? Should I run carbon 24/7, not worry about it, or not get it? I have a few SPS frags and plan on stocking more in the future. My design allows for some lower flow, lower light spots that I intend on keeping LPS and softies.

I would run carbon. The corals might be fine together, but Sinularia can get large, and likely will require trimming. Compatibility seems hard to predict.

carbon it is.

As far as size that's one of the reasons. I need to fill some empty spaces my tank is pretty bare at the moment.

Thanks for the advice
