Finger, Toadstool, Mumps and Colt...Can they touch each other?

My LFS guy told me that softies get along with each other and don't sting each other to death. He said softies only kill SPS and depending on the LPSs sweepers.

Do all softies get along?

Most are okay but specific varieties don't get along . I have Mumps, lobos, and toadstools all touching and are fine, but if the nearby Sinularia flexiblis (speaghetti leather) touches any of them they close and get "burned."

Soft corals do not have sweepers, but can defend territory alleopathically - that is, through the release of chemicals that can inhibit the growth or cause the decline of corals encroaching on their territory.
