finicky BTA...

+1 on the octopus,I run the 200 with the mesh wheel mod produces atleast 2 cups every 24 hrs really dark nasty stuff

man... i just got out of work, and i haven't gotten a mag test... today the nem was all shrivled up... so i think i'm taking it back to my LFS tomorrow morning... untill i get everything under control...

so you guys are saying that i can't feed it say... a whole silverside's head...? a large silverside's head...?

i used to have a small nano reef a couple of years back, and my rose used to eat half a large silverside, and it was smaller than this guy... that's why i thought this nem could handle moar than the latter one...

oh well...

i'm learning this stuff all over again... but this time the only help i get is online help...

thanks a bundle you guys, but i guess i'm not going to have a nem untill i give my system a serous ($texas) tune-up...

You can feed them big chunks of food, but if they can't digest it, they will regurgitate it. It is better to cut it up into pieces as small or smaller than a pencil eraser. It's not shriveled up because it is pooping is it? How does it look now?

right now, it's kind of stringy... like... not dieing... but the tentacles aren't plump and pretty... well some of they are... but not all of the tentacles...

i got a louner protein skimmer from my LFS... he gave me a remora something or other... a black box... i'm washing it and installing it right now... he said he will let me have it for 30 bucks... i don't know if i should buy it...

but he's still getting darker brown... the green has completely turned white now... it's still glows under the actnic lights, but it's like a solid white...

the LFS told me that he didn't have room untill tomorrow...

I have 4 RBTA and I feed them 2-3 pieces of whole krill every other day and they are gorgeous. They love the krill but I also soak it in selcon before feeding them. I have never gotten mine to eat siversides. This is frozen krill not freezedried.

i also tried krill... but i'm not sure if it did eat it, or spit it out... i really didn't pay much that time... i'll try it again today...

salinity raised, and new skimmer... i think it's starting to look better... but still no luck on the eating...

also... it hid behind a rock... actually... behind all of my rock work... this is going to make it hard to feed...
