Ive been feeding my peacock vitamin enriched krill since i got him. It seems that mysis is to small for him to catch effectively, and I dont feed FW fish, But he does occasionally get a fw crawfish for a treat and to keep him entertained. I just started soaking my food in garlicguard for my other tanks, But, my mantis Will Not eat the garlic soaked food-shows no interest, so i just feed him with out. Does any of your mantis's prefer a varied diet?? Because mine today, mumched and shredded up some krill (after i "made" him take it for the feeding stick) he would eat some, but toss out a good portion of it (and I am not feeding much, he used to eat a lot more actually.) he does this occasionally... I am trying to think of some other foods that he may like... I bought some fresh tuna from the grocery store, but he wont touch that either (doesnt seem to like fish), I feed the tuna to my eel and trigger. Could he just be telling me he wants some more variety??? Or maybe some live food like some turbo snails and hermits???? I dont mind dropping a little extra money on some inverts, but only if they will last for at least a week or two untill they're all eaten...
any suggestions, or personal experience would be appreciated???
