I have had two maroons in the same tank for close to three weeks now. All of the fins on the one that is the more dominant of the two have started to evenly shade to a dark maroon or black. Is this normal as a sign of the fish maturing, or a sign of stress? Otherwise, the fish appears to be totally happy and healthy. Also on another note, will the stripes on these maroon clowns eventually get wider.

The fins sound normal. My female started with bright oranbge fins and she eventually turned a deep wine color with the fins starting first. As for the stripes they might get wider , but don't hope too hard. White striped fish generally have thinner stripes then the gold stripe variety .
