I bought my 4 year old Fire Clown (Amphiprion ephippium) a BTA for Christmas

Here are some pictures to share...

pipebash - Thank you. I was thinking about some type of filter sponge on the powerhead. Any suggestions??

aentrop - Thank you!! I scored it for $45 when it split in a local reefers tank.

Not sure about what type of sponge...

But, I want to add something. Keep an eye on the anemone, the clown is about the same size as it. If (( and doesn't always happen, but something to watch for )) the anemone starts to look bad/stressed it could be from the clown loving it too much.

Thank you very much for that info Todd. I forgot about that. If he starts to bother it I do have another tank I can move it to.

Good deal. While Maroons are the worse at it, I have watched a Clarkii pair do it.

And nice looking clown and anemone.

i use a filter sponge and it does the job but it does decrease the power of the flow though

For today, I re positioned the ph further from the anem. I will think of a retrofit for it's safety soon. Thanks ko0ki3z.
