fire fish food??

I've had a fire fish for 3 days now, and the LFS near me told me to get ocean nutrition Formula two marine pellets, i drop a little in, he swims to it sucks it up and spits it back out, but anything else in the water he sucks up and eats... what other than this should i be feeding my fire fish? hes about 1-1 1/2" long very active, not shy at all, i can have my hand in the tank and he will swim right up to me... any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Mine will eat flake food (formula two), cyclopeez, mysis. Mostly anthing that floats by. I don't know about those marine pellets.

Alright thanks! Also, what do you recommend feeding a pep shrimp after all the apt is gone? i had 2 apt and he got those in day one... Thanks!

Peppermints will basically eat all the leftovers that your fish don't get to. Great scavengers

Got some mysis, dropped a little bit in and he went to town, so did the hermits/shrimp! thanks alot!

Best to offer a variety. Try some formula two flake food and cyclopeez as well. Your clean up crew will appreciate that as well.
